You go to the closet again, surprised things like this still exist after the order to destroy these things went into effect only a year before you were born. Looking around the giant electric box, you find the power button and press it. With a satisfying click, the screen springs to life. Looks like someone left a VHS inside, and it was somewhat close to the beginning! Lucky for you, you sit down and begin to watch. It flickers through different shows, having been taped over multiple times. From old yellow Christmas holiday specials to old rock concert footage, it keeps changing until it finally stays on something. It was an old Christian cartoon that looked discolored as all hell. You kept watching, as you saw a guy go up to this above-average man who looked like he invented the very concept of bodybuilding. The guy was puny, barely even noticeable at first. He pointed to the humungous guy before the VHS shifted to an up-close shot of a man. He was just staring absent-mindedly as if he was watching you. You could even make out the pores on his face. You went to turn off the thing, seeing something you didn't notice before. It was a loaded handgun and a box of bullets. Picking it up, you started to hear an ear-piercingly loud noise. The television and the man on it had gone completely white. You went for the power button and clicked it several times in a row, but it wouldn't stop. The noise could only be described as when someone in a cartoon would talk on the phone from the other line. It was impossible to understand anything, but seeing as it was blasting loud, you had to hear it until it stopped or you unplugged the TV. As you reached for the power cord instead, it halted itself. The man was back on the TV, a simple smile now across his face. Taking the gun and pointing it at him, you think about how stupid a decision that would be. Instead, you decide to make the much wiser decision of putting the gun near the temple of your head and pulling the trigger. You can feel the bullet traveling through your head. Even as the pain receptors in your brain go off, the bullet makes contact with your brain, goes through to the other side, and exits your skull. Your body goes limp. Hearing what you heard was enough to drive you mad, and you had to end it there.
